U3 and L4 are invited to DebSoc Juniors

All U3 and L4 students can also take part in debating, in DebSoc Juniors, which meets in E2 at 1.05pm on Fridays.

The club will be coached by members of the Upper School and Sixth Form with experience in competitive debating.

 

DebSoc meets on Wednesdays at 1.05pm in E2 & E3

Note the change in the start time.

Lunches are provided for confirmed members.

 

To become a member you must be in the Upper School (U4-U5) or sixth form and attend regularly.

We hold regular debates in E2 and "show" debates in the Haywood Centre Foyer

We compete in 6 national debate competitions including:

* ICYD (The International Competition for Young Debaters) held at The Oxford Union

* Oxford Union Schools' Competition

* Cambridge Union Schools' Competition

* Durham Union Schools' Competition

* English Speaking Union Debating Competition

*The Great Pharmacy Debate
